Digital Storytelling

Storyboarding is honestly a very fun and simple process, doing so really gets your creative gears going and

it allows you to figure out how to structure your story. There have been times when working on my webcomic that

I didn't storyboard and just made scenes up along the way which wasn't too difficult, but it definitely would've gone

smoother had I created a storyboard for a chapter/scene. My work is only uploaded online so it is a form of digital

storytelling, and the thing I love about this is that it’s accessible to anyone. If I were to print my work and distribute

it across various locations, it would be hard to find my audience or find people who enjoy my work. Compared to

digital storytelling where I can simply share a link and people can access it anywhere and everywhere. I put a lot of

effort into the story I make regardless of how many people read it and the message of my story is a part of my core

beliefs, which is being whoever you want to be in this world. It allows people to know who I am without ever

having to speak to them or see them face to face. Here is a storyboard for a page out of my comic. It isn't

anything crazy nor is it too detailed but it works for me and that's all that matters.
